Special Issue - Feedback On Your Successes

I'm going to ask you to help me - by sending me some feedback. Your replies will guide me in writing more on-topic articles, and should help us all to learn a bit more about selling art online. The results will be summarized in a future newsletter. If you would like, I will treat your individual replies as confidential.

I know we are all busy, but please do make an effort to answer as many of these questions as your time will allow, but please, do send me some replies.

1) How much of your work have you sold online?
2) What is the average price of the work that has been sold at your site?
3) What has brought the most customers to your site? (Search engines, links, your off line promotions, word of mouth?)
4) Can you quantify or describe the type of person who is your "online customer"?
5) Are you the only artist exhibiting at your site, or are you in a gallery or mall with other artists?
6) Did you design and produce your own site, or did you have it created for you?
7) What promotion have you done for your site? What percentage of your online efforts have been devoted to promotion? (Compare it to the effort of creating, hosting and maintaining your site.)
8) Have you found the SYAO newsletter helpful? How could I improve it to be more useful to you?

If you have any other information to share, such as stories about your site or customers, please send them along as well.
